What We Believe
God's word is the foundation for life.
God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity.
We believe that the God of the Bible is the only one and true God revealed eternally in three persons as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.
We believe that Jesus is God, the second person in the Godhead.
He is eternal in nature and was manifested in flesh and walked on the earth as both God and Man.
Born by a virgin, he lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the price of our sins and rose again in order to redeem all those who are willing to receive Him as Lord. Jesus came so that we could have abundant victorious life.
He came, and died and rose again so that every time we die we rise in Him.
Jesus said that it was to our advantage that He leave the earth so that He could send the Holy Spirit (John 16:7).
The presence of the Holy Spirit gives us assurance of our relationship with Jesus. We believe that every believer can be baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit, who was sent to us to comfort, teach and guide us in our journey with God, while at the same time convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.
The Holy Spirit empowers each believer with spiritual gifts and boldness of character.
The Bible is God’s Word for you and the absolute foundation for life.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, unchanging Word of God.
It is truth without any mixture of error and is relevant to our lives today.
We believe that all Scripture found in the Bible is reliable for reproving, correcting and instructing in the way of life.
